An Important Question...

If intimidation or fear lulls our gifts asleep, what stirs and wakes them up?

Boldness.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 says “Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you… For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

The love of God casts out fear and gives us boldness. Boldness breaks the grip of intimidation and awakens the gifts in our lives.

We encourage you to be bold in the face of uncertainty. If there is a cloud of discouragement and confusion hanging over you or your family, it is time to break free.

You are a leader in your sphere of influence because you have light and truth! Step out and bring forth great victories in the strength of our God.

With faith,
John & Lisa

Important Honourable Feedback.

I was surprised that your blog was not moderated; and that my comment came up immediately.

My interpretation and thoughts thereon:

I appreciate you for supporting Freedom of Speech; even speech you may dislike or find objectionable.

I don't think any problem can be honesty confronted where Freedom of Speech does not exist, or is not allowed, and is not considered important.

Right now, I got tears streaming down my face, as I type.

I appreciate you for surprising me with what I interpret as your commitment to Freedom of Speech.

Thank You!

Lara

I am glad that we can also pray for boldness just as the disciples did in the book of Acts!

Intimidation happens in so many forms. Thank God for your teachings that has helped so many. Blessings in Jesus!

Thank you for the reminder and encouragement to walk forward in boldness. I'm hearing a lot of that lately. I think that with all that's going on in this world today, we need to be encouraged. Possibly we are at a similar time to when the Isrealites faced the promised land filled with what appeared to be giants. They were told to take possession of their land. That sounds like boldness to me. You are an awesome ministry and I'm looking forward to hearing Lisa at an upcoming conference for Christian Family Center.

I pray the Lord keeps you and blesses you richly!

Oh wow, I must have this breaking intimidation set. This is good stuff. I have been being guided by the Lord, out of being quiet or worrying about what others might think of me, for being bold for the Lord. I love you both so much in the Lord. Your messages always astound and make me think deeper than I have ever thought to think. I am so looking forward to great messages, From Lisa at the Designers Original conference next week. I know there will be fabulous breakthrough and awesome fellowship with my sisters in Christ. Praise God for Christians such as yourselves, who see things so clearly, and then help others to see as clearly.

We had read the book "Breaking Intimidation" in one of our small groups. Wow! It was powerful. I wish we had purchased the video as well.
My hubby and I have several of your books already, and look forward to getting more. We share them with those that can not afford to purchase books. They have been life altering for many.

My little sister Sarah is one, as she is out of work due to a back injury (ruptured discs and bone fragments pushing on the nerve)and her husband has been laid off. She is a beautiful woman of the Lord, always giving of herself and struggling with what she sees of the world. They recently received full custody of their 3 mo. old and 2 year old grand daughters. She is unable to lift them which has been hard on them all.

She is going in to see a surgeon on Monday, if you could please pray for her.

Thank you Lisa and John for your Love in Our Lord and sharing with all of us. Words can not explain how much you have touched us and helped us.
Much love and blessings to you.
