Did you know a book has been written about you? It’s not just famous people who are featured in biographies. Your story is also in a book, and the Author is none other than God.“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed” (Psalm 139:16, NLT).
What a staggering thought—every moment of your life is recorded in a book.
“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]” (Ephesians 2:10, AMP).
God has planned your path, but notice that Paul writes “that we should walk in them.” It doesn’t say “that we would walk in them.” There is a huge difference. Free will comes into effect here because fulfilling these assignments isn’t automatic. First, it’s up to you to discover the plan. This happens through prayer, reading His Word, worship, and other spiritual means.
For this reason Paul prays: “We have always prayed for you, ever since we heard about you. We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will, with all the wisdom and understanding that his Spirit gives. Then you will be able to live as the Lord wants and will always do what pleases him. Your lives will produce all kinds of good deeds, and you will grow in your knowledge of God.” (Colossians 1:9–10, TEV)
Fulling God's unique plan for your life won't happen automatically. You must intimately engage Him in to discover the set plan He has for you. Then, it's by His grace (God's empowerment) that you fulfill the plan.
My friend, your life is unique, special, and by no means an accident. No one is common or menial. You were created (in God's image and likeness) for extraordinary purposes.

Dear Messenger International,
This is a post that the secular world needs to read.This post has brought us face to face our knowledge as believers to the reason for our birth on earth.
The world promotes "care free living" which is really sin filled living, and accountibilty is a word that the world thinks it can run away from. The truth of the matter is the secular world is running full speed TOWARDS the book and the impact is going to be beyond unspeakable.

This reminds me of the Scripture in Isaiah 30:21: Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
Hopefully I'll get to read the book soon. Finances are really tight right now, but my mom always wants to know what to send me for Christmas. In fact, I hope to get to see my family this year around Thanksgiving (anyone reading, will you please pray that we can make it).

Great post from the Lord! It's hilariously amazing how God has put that in my heart, regarding being a part of a story...it's funny I was led to write on November 9th something similar to this. Wow! I love how He is such a confirmation God! Thank you for the Words of the Lord you pour out so beautifully...I assume this is 'my' Lisa that wrote this...love you all..why? Because I can!!! Heeheehee!
